If The Patient Is Unconscious
Check if the patient is breathing. If breathing is present, keep the airway clear and gently turn the patient to one side if it is safe to do so.
Emergency Guidance
These are basic first-aid suggestions for common emergencies. Call the ambulance immediately, stay calm, and do only what is safe until trained medical help arrives.
Check if the patient is breathing. If breathing is present, keep the airway clear and gently turn the patient to one side if it is safe to do so.
Apply firm pressure with a clean cloth or bandage. Do not keep checking the wound repeatedly. Keep pressure steady until help arrives.
Keep the patient seated and calm. Loosen tight clothing. Avoid walking, climbing stairs, or any physical strain while waiting for the ambulance.
Help the patient sit upright. Keep the space ventilated. Do not crowd around the patient, and keep them as calm as possible.
Do not move the injured limb unnecessarily. Support the injured part gently and avoid forcing the patient to stand or walk.
Watch for face drooping, arm weakness, or speech difficulty. Call immediately and note the time when symptoms started if possible.
Clear nearby sharp objects, protect the head with something soft, and do not put anything in the patient's mouth. Turn them to one side after the seizure if possible.
Cool the burned area gently with clean running water if available. Do not apply ice, toothpaste, or oils on the burn.
Share the pickup location, patient age, condition, destination hospital if known, and your contact number when you call the ambulance.
Do not force food, water, or medicines into an unconscious or choking patient. Do not move the patient unnecessarily unless there is immediate danger.
